Introducing the Caran d’Ache New Luminance 6901 Pencil Range In Collaboration with Oliver Jeffers

Caran d’Ache has launched an exciting new pencil range in exclusive collaboration with the acclaimed Northern Irish illustrator and writer, Oliver Jeffers. This special edition offers artists and art enthusiasts a unique palette, handpicked by Jeffers himself, designed to infuse creations with vibrant and dynamic colours. The pack includes 8 Luminance 6901 pencils, 1 Graphicolour two-tone yellow/ HB graphite, and one Maxi Fluro pink pencil.

To complement this special edition, Caran d’Ache includes a QR code granting free access to an exclusive online course led by Oliver Jeffers from his Belfast studio. During the course, Jeffers guides viewers step-by-step in creating an enchanting campfire scene, sharing his tips and techniques for bringing everyday details to life. He offers guidance to help capture the essence of a scene whilst balancing precision and emotion.

In this special edition, Jeffers has selected his favourite Luminance 6901 pencils to create a distinct array of 11 colours. The standouts in this collection are the neon pink Maxi pencil, which brings an electric pop of colour, and the Graphicolor bi-colour pencil, combining two-tone yellow and HB leads. These additions enable artists to experiment with deep tones and warm hues, adding vibrancy and contrast to their designs.
